    beautiful outdoor spaces
    limited parking options

The outdoor spaces provided a lovely, serene garden perfect.

Parking can be tricky. Although we found street parking nearby, we did notice that most spaces are limited to 15 minutes during the day.

    Tiled bathrooms!

Very lovely overall experience. Our favorite place to stay in Portland. Location just off eastern promenade, Fore Street and Commercial and Portland for adventures and Maine. Also, on a hill. Comfortable bed in the a double room, plus central heating, an individual safe, and multi-channel TV. A wide array of goodies for breakfast.

The location was fantastic, just a short stroll from all the vibrant attractions in Portland. My room was looked super fresh, with a good shared kitchen space, made preparing light snacks easy.

great neighborhood, safe surroundings, accessible hiking trails

Such a disappointment with cleanliness standards, especially a used towel left behind!!! A bathroom with hairs and dust is unacceptable!!! Limited garbage bins over a longer stay? A better parking situation could do wonders!!!

    gorgeous courtyard

    Couples seeking a cozy escape

Honestly better than the photos! The coffee was amazing haven't brewed like that before but loved it. The courtyard was just gorgeous and really made. The kitchenette was super accessible, made it easy to whip up snacks when we needed to charge for the day.

It wasn't cheap, but totally worth it.

    urban charm

central gem near parks and local hotspots for exploring portland

Staying here was a wonderful experience, especially with the iconic Victoria Mansion just 2 km away and so many great eateries like the Front Room just a short walk away. I loved opening my window to get that lovely fresh air! The outdoor spaces were nice for unwinding after my walks, but i did encounter a few cleanliness issues

The Congress Street Queen room showcased a blend of historic charm with modern cleanliness and comfort. The spacious bathroom and excellent shower pressure contributed to the overall comfort of our stay. The shared kitchen space was a great addition. It's essential to note that the room was on the smaller side, which might not suit everyone, but we were out and about most of the time, thoroughly enjoying the nearby attractions.

    tricky parking

Absolutely loved the cozy, bright room. It was clean, and the kitchenette was a good surprise for our snack cravings. Perfect spot for a rainy day-no complaints here!

Parking reminded me of an Olympic sport, especially at night! Would have been nice if my car could find a spot as easily as I did a comfy chair.
